Who We Are

WOMEN OF SUBSTANCE

WOS offers support and assistance to those that are in need in any part of the world by providing food, clothes, advice, shelter and anything else required to enable individuals to live empowered and fulfilled lives. Guided by the Holy Spirit and taking our mandate from the Holy Scriptures, we aim to fulfill the vision of our Lord by being good stewards of all the resources He provides for the refuge, rest and welfare of His children.

Since April 2008, we have engaged in the following community projects in the UK and abroad:

Providing food and clothing to homeless shelters and mother and baby units
Community barbecues to supporting families and children in need
Breakfast clubs at local primary schools
Coffee mornings for the elderly and shut-ins
Feeding the homeless and providing clothes and blankets for those living on the streets
Supported families through food share donated by large food stores
Supported orphanages and children’s home internationally
Annually providing Christmas hampers

Our Objectives

To create service based projects to bring the good news of the Kingdom of God through service to God and to others

To use our God-given resources to provide refuge, safety and compassionate care for all God's children

To bring healing and recovery to those who are sick and in need of support and care

To bring ultimate Glory to God

We are committed to improving the lives of children and young people by providing safe, nurturing and life changing programs that empower them to develop transformational life skills.
